What is it with the liberal fascination with death?
A couple of years ago, a film called "Death of a President" was met with critical acclaim. It was a documentary-style production with George W. Bush's head digitally composited where needed. Those who found the subject matter tasteless were told to "lighten up", as it was only a movie.
Harry Smith, anchor of CBS' "The Early Show", in a Tuesday morning interview with Senator Ted Kennedy, took it to a dark place in reference to presidential candidate Barack Obama.
"When you see that enthusiasm though, and when you see the generational change that seems to be taking place before our eyes, does it make you at all fearful?"

I'd characterize the behaviour of the Liberal Left in general as irrational. That it is analogous to the addicted personality seeking to pursue self destructive behaviour regardless of the cost or consequences.
Consider the following common manifestations:

So what is it that the Secular Lib/Left is addicted to?
I'd say it's the sense of entitlement and moral superiority that seems to be so common amongst their ranks. These are powerful and rewarding experiences and they can be auto stimulated as easily as they can be transmitted and reinforced through the group. The perfect hive mentality where once having learned the behaviours acceptance in the group becomes automatic. To the point where simply repeating the rituals creates the serotonin rush and gratification that the addict requires.
Think about that!

The " moral superiority" bit is sure correct, and add intellectual snobbery to that, and you've got a pretty good idea of the average Liberal/liberal.
My dear sister is a high ranking Liberal party member in Manitoba, well educated, very high IQ, and utterly deluded as to the Liberal Party agenda. Her default position is " if the Party says it's best for Canada, it IS best for Canada".
When we get together at family reunions, I no longer bother to bring up politics, she KNOWS what's right and good, and I'm her stupid little brother. Sigh.
Too many such anecdotes .....
We know there's a problem ... but is there a cure?

yes yes and yes!..That it is analogous to the addicted personality seeking to pursue self destructive behaviour regardless of the cost or consequences...........Consequences?..They dont know the meaning of the word Ommag!
The cure would be to continue to shine a light into the dark corners of liberalism to show the hipocrisy and stupidity of their policies.
And they don't even make it hard to do.
