3 People in Toronto Not Better off Thanks to David Miller

Being free of the nefarious shooting ranges that caused so many gun related incidents in the city know as the Big Smoke or alternately in the derisive, Centre of the Universe ... Toronto has not seemed to help at least three of the residents today.

From CBC.ca:

School shooting 1 of 3 on deadly day in Toronto

Student in critical condition; 2 other people killed across city

Ironically two of the shooting victims got plugged while making use of a basketball court.
You may recall that Mayor Miller and premier McGuinty were hot and heavy about the great need for many more basketball courts to be built in order to stem the tide of gun related crimes in the fair city of Toronto.

Today's disturbing news
may cause a person to wonder if what they really wanted was to create more convenient places for the street gang gun culture to flourish as opposed to their idyllic visions various colourful ethnic groups engaging in the spirited sporting activity of hoops or such.

Rather disheartening it must be for the activist pols to see that as they were told by smarter people than they that in the Street Thug Gun Culture those Basketball courts = shooting ranges!

But of course in the logic of the Activist Politician it is more important to inconvenience and demonize the demographic that is more likely to question your competence than the one that relishes and flourishes as a result of it.

Good Point Johnny ... a lesson that should be learned but sadly most people and all lefties are completely incapable of learning from the mistakes of others.
