Senses Still not Wanting to Accept..............

Some Quotes from A Christmas Carol – by Charles Dickens

`It's humbug still!'' said Scrooge. ``I won't believe it.''

``Why do you doubt your senses?''

``Because,'' said Scrooge, ``a little thing affects them. A slight disorder of the stomach makes them cheats. You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!''

Things that happened recently that I Wish were Food Induced Hallucinations!

1) Globe & Mail Report on So Called "Debates": See the Globe Decision 2006 website
Claiming:

Twenty-one per cent of those who saw the debates or heard about them afterward said Mr. Martin won, compared to 15 per cent who said Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe came out on top, 11 per cent who thought Conservative Leader Stephen Harper was victorious and 6 per cent who favoured NDP Leader Jack Layton. ( from Decision2006, Globe&Mail)

What kind of person would take these so called "debates" seriously? And who the heck is answering these polls?

2) Western Campaign Efforts: Big Freakin Deal! Gee whiz we get a whole weekend worth of campaign effort! And lousy media coverage to boot! Thanks alot....we'll be remembering that!

3) Still No MSM Coverage of the Big Election Killing Issue - ITSCAM - The Leaking of Government Policy on Income Trusts prior to Public Announcement! Who is pulling the strings of MSM on this one?

The first question asked should have been 'did you watch?'. If the answer was 'no', it's irrelevant what a person thought of other people's opinions.

Your comment support to my post about the Washington Times Canada / US hate monger item was just excellent.

I appreciate your support and I hope more Canadians clue in to the the lies camoflaged in our news media. The precise aim of your Blogsite here. Worthy goal.

I could have thanked you in an Email but I do so here so that others may check DustMyBroom and BendGovernment.blogspot.com to see the amazing example of groundless hate mongered by Douglas MacKinnon, an ex-Canadian and press secretary to Sen Bob Dole in the Washington Times.

No doubt MacKinnon thought Canadians would never discover his fanning hate into Americans.

Thanks OM. I fired off an E-mail to Washington's Mayor and asked that she phone the paper. Terse email replies suggest words have been exchanged. I hope she slammed the editor. TG

So far our debates have been little more than contestants pawing the dirt before the fight.

Sparks will fly after Christmas and boxing days are properly celebtated. Should be way more fun than these boring sterile text recitals. TG

Anyone else notice that the Globe and Mail's numbers on 'Who won the debate' only add up to 53%?

It's not that shocking that 47% of people thought no one won...
