Two Kinds of People In this World

Every morning across our nation millions of us make a gesture that shows the fundamental nature of ourselves.
What I'm talking about has to do with the act of hitting the “snooze button” on the alarm clock or the radio or whatever appliance we use to tell us when sleep time is over.

One camp just gets up and gets on with the day. The other camp looks for a return to that oblivion. I’ll bet that there is a link to other behaviours that can be connected to the tendency.

For instance I wonder how the snoozers respond to things like social or political issues and challenges? Do snoozers tend to be conservative? Do they tend to be liberal? Are they the touchy feely types more than the analytical? What are the analogous events in life that the snoozers tend to avoid? Are there such analogues?

I suspect that there are and one example is the current attack on western civilization by islamists. It seems to me that we have a group of snoozers in our society that don’t want to face the day. This day is here however and it is all about whether or not you going to face it!

So what's it going to be? Snooze or wake up and deal with the world?

Actually, there are three kinds of people in this world... those who can count and those who can't. HAHAHAHA! :-)

Excellent post. I think most people are snoozing. They are missing out. There is something satisfying about keeping your head up while you move forward, seeing everything that kicks you in your face. :) Just keep going. Watching people fly by you in their way to the top. Just keep going. Vampires trying to suck you dry, too much television, too many morons telling you what the think, what to do, what to want... keep on going. Make a difference. Don't stop. Don't ignore anything. Let it all sink in, feel it, acknowledge it, and just keep on going. :)
