Another Reason to PULL THE PLUG on the CBC

For those of you who did not see the interview of Harper...here's the point.
Harper's answer to the specific question was not even used in the pasted together report.
Instead the CBC used bits and pieces from other sections and even other interviews to fabricate a phoney piece.
Your tax dollars are being used to pay for this BS.

Taylor's excellent work has spawned quite a few comments on a variety of blogs. At first, it was interesting to read the liberal spin on this but how many ways can they say "get over it!" and still be relevant?
I'd be happy to just say "get over it" and be happy....as long as this publicly funded media channel stops the blatant manipulation and gets down to honest reporting.
I find it interesting that many of the libsimps who are defending this bit of CBC trash like to point out that there have been "Harper Friendly" stories too. As if that justifies anything!
One more reason why I have NO use for liberal supporters. IDIOTS!
So far, my most effective strategy to deal with lefties who can't (or won't) understand why those of us on the right despise the CBC is to ask them how they would like to have their tax dollars pay for a Canadian version of Fox News. Strangely, none of them like the idea. Not all of them make the leap of logic but does that surprise you? Me neither.
It's a sad state of affairs that in order to find some sort of "Balance" in broadcast media news that there evolves a Fox News as the yang to CNN's yin.
Maybe that's not the best analogy but it's all I've got right now.
Heaven forbid that we end up with a scene like that in Canada.

On several blogs, I've advocated for a professional association for journalists, so like doctors, engineers and other professionals, they must seek licencing or similar recognition from peers, must be subject to a Code of Conduct and subject to a meaningful complaint process.
I think this an excellent idea and although it wouldn't resolve the problem of media miscreants, it would help!
