Gordon Sinclair Jr.'s Not So Stealthy Message
I picked up a copy of the WPG Free Press this morning and went to the City& Business section as usuall. What was unusual is that I allowed myself to take a moment to scan Sinclair's B1 collumn!
" There's a stealthy message behind ribbons" BLARES the by-line!
Huh? Ok I'm hooked....... I read it once and spot some tyically assinine observation and comments.
But a couple of things got me thinking about just what the hell his point is. I read it again.
Man oh Man....this guy is getting worse than ever!
Apparently we are to think according to Sinclair Jr. that the display of bumper stickers that state "Support Our Troops" is some sort of subversive campaign to "Support The War".
Of course Sinclair's mush headed lefty ideology is blatantly displayed in his prose which enters into blather about "Flag drapped coffins" and of course the assumption that the display of said coffins ( which of course is one of the favorite activities of our stalwart lefty media types) will lead to more Candians questioning the war!
On he goes to take swipe at American foreign policy " Is it really about rooting out militant muslim extremists and confronting terrorists?" he asks. "Or is it more about about protecting America's strategic oil interests in the area?"
Sure Gordie baby! Nothing to do at all with cleaning up the shithole where thousands of murderous criminal thugs were trained to carry out attacks on the civilized world! Nothing at all to do with changing the environment that allowed a bunch of religeous zealots to take a suffering third world country back in time 7 or 8 centuries! Nothing to do at all with trying to establish some law and order in a region where lunatic war lords and would be despots thrived while plotting the destruction of civilization!
On he goes, Sinclair Jr. to take a swipe and smear our Prime Minister as " A george Bush Mini-Me, saluting his American mirror image..."
This one pretty much tells it all!
Gordon Sinclair Jr. is so wrapped up in his left wing ideolgy that he's capable of morphing a simple fact that thousands of Canadians care to display their concern for our military into an excuse to spout his own blatant anti-conservatism with mush headed socialist political dogma in attack on our Prime Minister and the US President.
Ridiculous!
The piece goes on with some more ridiculous nonsense about an e-mail chain letter that any intelligent person would delete to the trash bin if it got by the spam blocker....apparently something that Sinclair Jr. isn't bright enough to do....or is it because he is so hard up for ideas or an original thought that this is where he seeks his knowledge?
In my opinion....Gordon Sinclair Jr. should take his shit for brains political views and keep with like minded asshats! Buzz Hargrove comes to mind...........
Why the Free Press continues to pay this guy to write columns is a mystery to me!
BTW Gordie...the war is all about taking responsibility and doing things that need to be done in spite of what self righteous crybaby fools and slaves of politcal correctness say!

Well put OMMMA . I will go buy a free press right now and I will wipe my ass with it. I guess Gordie doesn't remember what happened in NYC and London.

Gordon Sinclair Sr was a freedom lover and a fan of the USA ... I will try to find a speech he did a long time ago and sent it.
I guess it's true we are getting stupider with each generation.
