Mr. Grapes Goes to Ottawa

Grapes showed up at the house of commons today...Liberals and complained and Bloc Booed!
I like Don Cherry all the better for that!

Grapes is my benchmark for crankiness.
If I find myself saying anything I've heard him say or could picture him saying....it's time to take a few deep breaths and back off!

Gotta love his tenacity though.

How unCanadian of them! Mind you, the bloc don't consider themselves Canadians anyways...

I thought he had multiple Blue's over the years - kind of like George Foreman and his many kids name George?

Love him or hate him, there's no denying that Grapes has an undying love for his country. He's politically incorrect, grumpy, and occasionally says things that make me do a double take and scream "what"? at my TV - but he's also patriotic, charitable, kind hearted, open, honest, straight forward, friendly, a long time supporter of the Canadian Forces and someone who is not afraid to say that they love Canada (and why).

He's one of a kind. It's a shame we don't have more like him.

The boos were very disrespectful. No matter who the guest or visitor is, there should never be any boos from the Members of Parliament. Of course, they are so used to it, they are forgotten how to be civil.

Did you catch Rex Murphy's Point of View on the CBC last night? The text is at http://www.cbc.ca/national/rex/

My Order of Canada includes Don Cherry. Classic Rex!
