The BBC gets it's funding from a Television License fee paid by every owner of a TV in Britain.
A multi-billion dollar scam that keeps the hive of left wing ideologues in business.
Now if they are successfully expanding by taking on global partners or acquisitions they should no longer need to be subsidized through this outrageous tax! Right?
Personally ... I see this as an opportunity to offload our own CBC ... which is simply a clone of the British group anyway ....Once and For All freeing the Canadian Taxpayer from the burden of subsidizing this pathetic waste of resources.
Please! BBC come and take over.... they're just like you already!

For all the shortcomings of the CBC, there are plenty of non-partisan shows I really enjoy. The special attention to Canadian content is a valuable resource. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
Ok... try this...
Make a list of the programs you watch that you feel are worthwhile.
Figure out the the number of programed minutes that makes.
Divide 1*10**9 by that number.
That is the cost per minute!
Was it worth it??
