The Death of St. George

As devolution of the Once Great Britain continues................... some good citizens of Old Blighty have decided to put down their own Patron Saint !

Rather than face the possibility of the perpetual outrage from religion of peacers they decided to CANCEL the annual St. George's day parade.

As the residents of Bradford scuttle away in fear ... some were heard to say a faint ......
Fairwell to St. George ! .....

One clue that some residents might have had about the direction their traditions would be taking might have come from the names of some of their councilors like ..... Quasim Khan.
Not that Mr. Khan is bad guy ....... just that his priorities may be in a different realm.
Add to this the fact that the rest of the council is living in fear while the police are unwilling to do their job by any other means than preventing the good citizens from exercising their rights in celebration of their own traditions.
