An old friend is Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout.
So much malty caramel goodness that you can hardly tell there are hops in here.
But ... hops there are ... that give a twang of bitter citric bite and clean up the finish so you can enjoy another long draught.
It's dark dark dark and burnt caramel delight....

what you think of Abbott Ale?
got to be the best (mass produced) brew in the world, in my ever so humble opinion.
i hit a brit establishemnt round here on ocassion, just for the fish/chips and abbott.
Not sure if I've tried Abbott... I'll check it out though ... thanks for the tip.
