How Hot Is It?
But the paved area between the garage and my back door has a special micro climate .... 45 c (113 f)!
Now ... I know that many hot climates produce clouds of flies that inflict themselves on people and animals in those regions. But ... I'm guessing that our cold weather adapted flies can't take the heat.
This one dropped out of the air right in front of me............

was watching a CFL game and they were commenting on the heat and humidity in saskatchawan.
incredible. and we here in souther california are have a cooling trend.
WHen the prairies get hot .... there is a tendancy to stay hot... right now were just making up for a few years of cold and wet summer....bring it on.
Downside is likelyhood of big tstorms...a fairly large cell went by about 40 miles southeast of us last night.
Yeah! Bring it on! These are the days I dream of when pushing snow @ 50 below in January....
