Back at the Ranch
After a two week road trip that took in Minneapolis, Peoria, Indianapolis and points east in Southern Ontario..... it's back to the old shack and such.
One of the many nice things we found on the trip was at my old high school friend's place....
That's a shot of the back yard taken from the motorized dock ... looking across the pond ... the pup in the water is one of three hunting frogs.
Thanks for the tour Jed .................................
AND by the way ......... US gasoline prices per gallon run anywhere from $3.40 for regular to about $3.80 depending on what state and city you are in .......that compares to over $5 per in Canada .... combine that with generally better roads and more options on driving routes and it makes our Socialist Paradise look pretty useless..... or actually .... proves how useless our socialist state really is.
Cheers to North Dakota for leaving the interstate speeds at 75mph and jeers to Illinois and Wisconsin for killing the flow of traffic with artificial restrictions.

When I was doing the flatbed driver thing about six years ago, I did a little driving in Canada.
I noticed (after being detained for paperwork (or was it the American flag behind the passenger seat) that Canada was like America back in the sixties.
Hardly any underground utilities (in the cities) and road markings and signs that were minimalist, to say the least.
Sounds about right Kurt..........
