Off to See the Band Tonight ...
Meanwhile ...... back in Paris .... I was embarrassed .... babe...
Streetheart ... a 70's and 80's band .... the guitar guy ... Jeff .... that's my pal .... you should have heard him doing Hendrix riffs when he was 12...... and that's Frank (for Frankenstrat) about which I have a cool quote.
It seems that Jeff used to baby his axe with a heavy duty metal shipping case that weighed about 40 pounds with the guitar inside. So ... with the advent of all the extra airline security and the extra baggage charges .... Frank gets taken along in a cheep nylon gig bag .... cause "Ahhh pffft ... these things are made of solid maple .... they make baseball bats out of maple and last time I checked ... no one was worried about smacking things around with a baseball bat !"
Anyway we're off to see the band tonight along with Mr. & Mrs. Lost Johnny .....
