Best Used Car Buy :
The 2002 Audi A4 Quatro with the 3.0 litre 220 HP V6.
Available for under 10 grand this is a sleeper four door compact ... actually smaller than a Ford Focus ... that will deliver great fuel economy. That is when you resist the temptation to put the transmission in Sport Mode and mash the fun pedal. The little bomb has leather heated seats ... a sun roof ... and will cruise all day at illegal speeds on a tank of gas. Top speed is limited to 130 mph by the engine control electronics.
Best road trip surprise :
On the summer road trip we had some nice surprises along the way..... Peoria IL was a sleepy little city with a great waterfront walk along the Illinois River. The roadhouse restaurant and tavern just outside Lansing MI off I94 with the awesome sandwich platters. But the best find was a suprise in Indianapolis at the Speedway Golf Course Clubhouse. Indy has a lot to offer for dining out but this little clubhouse is so good and so reasonably priced it would be worth while to put it on the trip agenda anytime we find ourselves in the city.
Best beer find :
That nearly empty glass sitting next to the swanky pork chop is "Flying Monkey's Hoptical Illusion" found in the 50 West restaurant in Guelph ON. Flying Monkeys.....

Ok, now I'm a little upset that I didn't win the best property landscaping award, and after Indy spent so much time and uh..."hard" work to make it what it is. Do we at least get an honourable mention? LOL!
Happy New Year buddy, maybe we can corral Mr. Neill for another round of blues and brews....

We'll see what the new year brings .... I'm hoping Jeff will be around for a visit.
But my main thing this year has to be house renos and the motorcycle projects.
