The thing about this project is the 700cc home built engine. Builder Dennis Franz used a couple of Honda 350 four engines as a start and manufactured the crankcase and main shaft to fit the cylinders and top ends. The result is a beefy little jewel that deserves recognition for the ingenuity and effort of the builder. The V8 was coupled to a BMW transmission and installed in the BMW rolling chassis show in the photo.

If there is a builder out there who wants a solid project to take hold of, then this is one of the best opportunities you are ever likely to see.
