NDP Convention To Tackle Really Important Issues!

HONOUR SASKATCHEWAN POLITICIANS? LEGALIZE MARIJUANA?
IT MUST BE NDP CONVENTION WEEKEND!

The Co-Chair for the Manitoba Progressive Conservative election campaign, Kelvin Goertzen, says the contrast couldn’t be clearer.

While Manitoba Progressive Conservatives held a convention last November that produced several policy white papers dealing with important Manitoba priorities such as reducing addiction, improving health care, strengthening the justice system, promoting agriculture and building a vibrant economy, this weekends NDP convention will see delegates debate resolutions advocating for the legalization of marijuana and honouring a Saskatchewan politician with a Manitoba holiday.

Among the NDP resolutions is one calling for the creation of a holiday in Manitoba in honour of former Saskatchewan Premier, Tommy Douglas.
