National Post: Harper Heckled

As if the most important part of this historic moment was the juvenile behaviour of a pair of Arabs in the Government of Israel!

Prime Minister Stephen Harper represented our Nation proudly and the National Post can only see fit to belittle the matter as if  their own entrenched bias (hatred) of Mr. Harper and all things conservative has been somehow validated through the despicable actions of traitorous anti semites.

This all too typical propagandizing by the NP and by media in general is nothing more than a blatant display of the unwarranted self importance and blind partisanship that rules these ignoramuses and moral and intellectual pipsqueaks.

What Mr. Harper did was to clearly and eloquently demonstrate the reality of the international rise of anti-semitism  and the mechanisms at work. He also demonstrated that Canadians ARE better than the weak minded losers who need to debase Israel as a means to justify their own goals.

What the National Post did was prove that they are cretinous and vile. Beyond contempt.

Election Year .....

So far this year I have recieved a property tax rebate of over $700 .... a government auto insurance(MPI) rebate of over $700 and now ..... Lower Insurance RATES?








Don't get me wrong .... I do like getting my own money back. But, let's face it people ... the reason this is all happening in 2011 is because the NDP have been in power for three consecutive terms ... 12 years... and without the "charismatic" Garry Doer to lead the political charge they have no hope in hell of hanging on to the public purse strings again.
So ... as per usual the commie dumasses resort to their usual bag of tricks which includes of course using the public's own money to bribe us and that other old chestnut ... conservatives are scary ... and Garry Filmon ... who has not been premier or even involved in the Manitoba PC party for 12 years.... cut the health care budget. Never mind the fact that   no one can point to one single positive result of  governance under NDP management.     Unless of course you are employed in the tax spending social services business.  After all there are union jobs to be protected in our happy socialist paradise.

So for all those suckers out there in the unions who helped contribute to this  election year largess through your contribitions to the commie gevernment ... thanks.

After TEN years in power and not one of the important issues faced by Manitobans is any better than before these jokers can along.

Need an MRI? go to the US ... anywhere will do.. if you can afford it.

Need cancer treatment? A few hundred grand at the Mayo Clinic will get it for you.

Our Economy is in the tank and Manitoba is facing a big budget shortfall - Thanks to Selinger.

Think any new jobs are coming to Manitoba .... think again. After raping the crown corps MPI and MB Hydro Selinger has his sights set once again on private enterprise.

Still no accountability from Welfare and CFS on waste and incompetence. Still no justice for dead babies in the care of the provincial agents.

As Finance Minister, Greg Selinger knew about problems with the Crocus Investment Fund four years before the collapse. He told his cabinet colleagues that “by 2003, virtually no money will be available for new investments,” but as Finance Minister he said nothing to taxpayers, and thousands of Manitobans lost their hard-earned savings.

Mr. Selinger has also admitted that he knew about the plan hatched by NDP insiders to claim phony expenses that their election campaigns had never incurred.

Illegal rebates of $76,000 of your tax dollars to the NDP.

As Finance Minister Greg Selinger said nothing.

Manitoba is facing a big budget shortfall next year, and something must be done to close that gap. Greg Selinger has strongly suggested he will adopt a new Harmonized Sales Tax, which would impose a new tax on everyday items ranging from kids' clothing to gas at the pump.

Selinger said he supports property and business tax increases. He paid lip service to balanced budgets while increasing Manitoba's debt, and some of his highest-profile campaign backers have even called for reversals in Gary Doer's personal income tax cuts.

Selinger is where he is because he promised to put the demands of organized labour above the concerns and the welfare of the people of Manitoba.

Goverment mandated tuition freezes ala Selinger and friends .... destroyed the ability of the Universities to maintain their infrastructure and forced a steady errosion of the quality of post secondary education.

School boards still allowed to implement policies that parents never asked for and do not want. Still allowed to set budgets that tax payers cannot afford to sustain and still allow unions to dictate education policy all without any sort of accountability to the people they are supposed to be serving (students and parents) - Thanks to Selinger and friends.

Greg Selinger is in the driver's seat and he is going to made to account for where we are going.

No more free ride for the Dippers and their incompetence, arrogance and ignorance.

Doer Knight-Errant

Not because he's got a track record of accomplishment. His governance has been a disaster ignored and unreported in the mainstream.

Why is Gary Doer going to Washington to sit in the PLUM patronage position that the Feds have to offer?

Stephen Harper has bought off a political opponent in his nascent stages. For one thing that Gary Doer is capable of ..... taking over the leadership of a federal party and getting votes.

Whether that federal party would be the running joke that is the NDP or the train wreck of the LPC. Doer in spite of his limitations is more competent by an order of magnitude than anyone who currently resides within those camps.

Picturing Grinning Gary as the Knight-Errant of the political left .... the chevalier ... moved off the board to the realms of internation courtiers.

When The Small c Journalist Tells the Truth

I had the pleasure of attending the Manitoba PC's Leader's Dinner event on Monday Night.

It was a very successful event by just about any measure.

The high point for myself was having a beer with a few of the folks I've worked with in the past and meeting some new people who share my interests and similar outlooks.

The next best part was having as the keynote speaker Mr. Andrew Coyne.

Presenting us with a well prepared oratory that seemed to be primarily base on his writings and general outlook on politics the journalist and sometimes pundit had a few interesting ideas to share.

One thing from his presentation that resonated was the need for political parties to decide just what the hell they stand for.

Good point!

As in, instead of trying to adapt to every whim of the media driven public try to explain how your principled position creates solutions to problems and addressed the public concern. For certain ALL the political parties could stand to have and to display some backbone and sense.

Sounds OK!


Except for the FACT that the media are so completely incapable and unwilling to bother communicating on that level.

Of course Andrew had some things to say about that matter. Like perhaps if we took the time to explain and communicate in those terms the MSM would suddenly start actually communicating in those terms as well.

Now I'll concede this to Andrew Coyne, self described Small c conservative and in reality a 1950's Liberal, perhaps YOU would like to have the opportunity to lead the way with your journalist brethern and I'm sure you would be happy to actually report on issues without the spin (as I see you mostly do) .... BUT ... there are precious few in you field who have even the most rudimentary capacity to do as you do.

Even fewer with any desire to. The reality that counterpoints your lofty ideas is that any and I mean ANY politcal party that states it's Principles and uses that position to define itself is going to be misrepresented by the self serving media. This is demonstrated daily by the print and broadcast media around the world. With very few exceptions every single matter that we take the time to investigate proves to have been muddled in some way by the news media. And You Mr. Coyne must concede that your own lofty idealism and (let's face it) small l liberalism finds it's way into much of what you write and PROMOTE.

I say that ... Without principled reporting, commentary and analysis coupled with intelligence and a modicum of respect for the general public there will be NO such political environment as that you wish to see!

Budget Baloney

I could write a book about all that is wrong with the budget that slid across the floor of the commons today. But since there is so much to say and so much being said I'll try to be brief.

The fundamental thing that is wrong with today's budget is that it is a Political Budget.
It is not a necessary response to economic circumstance and it is not founded in any sort of principle or sound judgment.

It is nothing but a political statement.

I will leave to you to decide for yourself whether you approve or disapprove of that statement.

I will however take a parting shot on this topic directed towards the MSM.

In the usual and entirely expected veign of using any excuse to badmouth conservatives and with the usual complete lack of foundation or intelligence in their analysis or criticism our major news networks and print purveyors found common ground yet again for the simple reason that it is conservatives who have done something.

Just remember these media buffoons are not one bit smarter or more honest today than they were yesterday or for many days before. If they ever did have an ounce of integrity it was consumed by other less respectable traits long ago and it will never ever be discovered again.

If you want to know what is in the budget you need to read it for yourself.
If you want to understand the consequences of it you will either have to figure it out for yourself or find a trustworthy and intelligent person to discuss it with. If you cannot do either of these things then you will have to just wait and see. If you are going to believe what the MSM is saying then you are well and truly fucked.
