Some "expert" proclaiming that by taking action against Iran the US ... and the non-muslim western world in general would be causing a catastrophe much greater than the alternative of allowing the islamist terrorist state to have their A-bombs.

Iran is nothing but a small time bully. Being given way too much room by people too afraid to do the right thing ... like our "expert". Afraid of the repercussions that might be attempted by the global terrorists that Iran feeds? Our "expert" certainly is.  Afraid of hearing the inevitable condemnation that will come from the rest of sanctimonious and and self righteous bystanders? See the "expert"....

The expert thinks that allowing the beligerent to go get his gun is the smart thing to do. Hoping that the SOB will not remember what he was having a hardon about in the first place.Yeah right!

These people are perfectly willing to sell out the entire human race simply because the reality of what needs to be done is too frightening to deal with. These people are cowards.

Hillary has been winning battles on the international relations front in ways that make most of the presidents campaign assertions look like exactly what they were..... a load of crap.

Bill the Dick has been getting shots in randomly and quite often about Obozo's failings.

Just Another Day in Our Happy Socialist Paradise

Well it's a day after the civic elections in Winnipeg and not much has changed....

I suppose the good news is that not much has changed .... as in "No news is good news!"

The good citizens showed their true colors by going out in droves at the behest of unions and leftist political hacks. But on the other hand, fear of getting tax increases won out over the desire to inflict/endure still greater levels of asshattery from the City Hall.


But what the heck? In spite of the usual intense campaigning from the crypto commies who backed up the insufferable waste of skin Judy Washyerwhashyerwash... and the belly aching from the community of parasites and taxburdenites... in spite of not having a single thing to be recommended for ... and in spite of a do nothing campaign that was perfectly reflective of his governance .... Sam Katz is back in.

The only problem is that we still do not have any prospect of better for the future.... a great voter turnout .... numbers like 48% being bandied about ... which is a big improvement over past civic votes.... seems to be wasted due to lack of candidates of any substance..

Bottom line here is that Winnipeg simply had to choose from the least of the worst for a job that needs at least a moderately competent candidate.


I think what we need to do is create a City Manager position that is responsible for ALL the actual decisions and save the Mayor job for the barely qualified to be ribbon cutting fools who seem attracted to it.

A City Manager that has to go through a public vetting and be held accountable would make a big difference. A city manager who can be fired for failing to meet objectives and replaced as necessary.

Job description: Setting policy objectives, managing the performance of civic departments in meeting those objectives.

Any one up for that?

The police may think they license citizens to carry arms, but they don’t. It’s citizens who license the police. They license them to carry arms, to enforce the law, to investigate crime, to serve and protect. All power flows from the public to the authorities, not the other way around.

GJ goes on to explain how the consequences of the liberal moral inversion of depriving citizens of tools to defend themselves simply provides bureaucrats in law enforcement a self serving blanket of immunity from the citizens and the front line police the special status of being the only people in society allowed to protect themselves.

This raises the issue of liberalist social meddling to clearly illustrate the fundamental flaw of the so called progressive mindset that cries for the people to be controlled. Controlled and oppressed for the benefit of the weak livered, effeminate elitists through the destruction of true civil rights and personal freedom and the unrestrained empowerment of governments to enforce the coercion of law abiding citizens.

Never mind the concept of property rights that this perverse logic of the left abuses without regard.

The gun issue aside....We in Canada have already had our God given right to defend our persons and property trampled by legislation enacted by leftist statist elites (PETand Co.). Laws which were argued in favour of through the delusional dogma and false morality of popular childish political correctness. The PeeCee ethos being eagerly swallowed by the ignorant and gullible and immature and constantly reiterated and reinforced through the willing MSM filters.


Just try and defend yourself from a physical assault! If the perps are injured by you or even if they do not disappear before police arrive you are assured that it is YOU who will be arrested. Your fundamental right to protect your very person .... abrogated and denied by PeeCee law.

The same goes for protecting your family, your home and your neighbours.

Now take a look at what the anti gun legislation has done to your rights.

Without ever owning or using a gun any anonymous and unfounded accusation that you do or are can result in an armed police invasion of your home with arrest and and assault on your person. It's happened right here in Winnipeg to a guy who had a model gun (a toy) sitting in view of a telephone installer who was working there.

The gun registry itself besides being a waste of your tax dollars is just another layer of icing on the statist cake of legislation designed to limit the freedom of the population. It's existence stems only from the desire and intention of those on the political left to exert control and sustain influence over individuals. It's enactment sold to the public through the fear mongering propaganda of socialists.

This is not the mindset that enabled our nation to develop and grow. Neither is it in any way a progression to a more mature society. It is rather the impulse of the cowardly, maternalistic and elitist frame of mind of those that are too afraid of living in a truly free society . A moral inversion that needs to be seen for what it is and reject outright.

The step to a truly mature society is when the majority reasserts their right to individual liberty over group think paranoid reflex, when we reject once and for all the impulse to pander to the hysterical trembling and sheeplike bleeting of the weak and immature. When we decide to start acting and demand to be treated as adults rather than whiny and self indulgent children.

When we reassert the God Given Right to defend our own persons and property.

Look to yourself.

Budget Baloney

I could write a book about all that is wrong with the budget that slid across the floor of the commons today. But since there is so much to say and so much being said I'll try to be brief.

The fundamental thing that is wrong with today's budget is that it is a Political Budget.
It is not a necessary response to economic circumstance and it is not founded in any sort of principle or sound judgment.

It is nothing but a political statement.

I will leave to you to decide for yourself whether you approve or disapprove of that statement.

I will however take a parting shot on this topic directed towards the MSM.

In the usual and entirely expected veign of using any excuse to badmouth conservatives and with the usual complete lack of foundation or intelligence in their analysis or criticism our major news networks and print purveyors found common ground yet again for the simple reason that it is conservatives who have done something.

Just remember these media buffoons are not one bit smarter or more honest today than they were yesterday or for many days before. If they ever did have an ounce of integrity it was consumed by other less respectable traits long ago and it will never ever be discovered again.

If you want to know what is in the budget you need to read it for yourself.
If you want to understand the consequences of it you will either have to figure it out for yourself or find a trustworthy and intelligent person to discuss it with. If you cannot do either of these things then you will have to just wait and see. If you are going to believe what the MSM is saying then you are well and truly fucked.

It came to my attention through a friend who grows a market garden the new legislations governing labeling of packaged food products may have some unintended consequences.

It seems that some of the things he has been producing such as his home made style pickles and horseradish now have to be labeled under the appropriate Canadian products and the Food Content laws.

So ...

Well in order to comply with these requirements he would have to submit his product to registered testing labs to determine the actual breakdown of his pickle juice and his horseradish. This is a process that is both time consuming and expensive enough to wipe out most of the profit from his little venture. Then he has to purchase labels and or labeling equipment and ensure that every container that goes to market meets the standards.

So what? These products and the products of thousands of small homegrown operations represent local economic development, offer consumer choice and diversity and in fact are some of the best value and quality items you can purchase in your local stores or markets.


Now thanks to bureaucratic meddling that was argued to be in the best interests of consumers and our domestic producers we are about to ruin an entire supply chain. This will affect a broad range of products and increase the cost of food. You see those increased costs that the BIG producers whined about are nothing more than an inconvenience which costs can be passed along to you the consumer.

For the SMALL operations .... they are DEATH.

The only problem might be that it's already too late.
By announcing their plans to launch a counter intelligence and disinformation operation they have already likely blown their opportunity on that front!

Besides so far their efforts to establish and counter all the negative information being propagated around the web are not really working too well.
