Review of Last Week's Election Reporting

After the weekend I had some time to review the numbers and it looks about typical for our Canadian MSM.

With the warnings of election coming from Prime Minister Stephen Harper over the last few days we have already seen a flury of negative reports from our Canadian media.

The first sample was taken on Thursday the 28th of August... please feel free to provide links to articles you find.

As of Last Thursday :
Out of 36 articles researched ...
5 were found to be neutral in tone and fact without bias or inaccuracies.
4 were neutral in tone but contained factual inaccuracies (possible errors)
19 were negative about the election
17 showed anti conservative bias
7 were distinctly favorable of LIberal position
1 Was an NDP promotional piece trumpeting the policies and performance of Layton.

The majority 86% were biased, inaccurate in fact or contained outright false reporting of facts.

Wow. Your MSM are less biased than ours in the States, by about 14%.
