Friday's Beer!

Well ...... actually Thursday's once again .... this being the Christmas season and there is visiting and such to partake in so The weekend leaves no time for this relaxing exercise.

And some stand in tunes .....

So thanks to Mr. William Lyon McKenzie Redux for his offering in the NBP tradition.

Stuart's Natural Session Ale:
Stuart is the Scottie ... Handsome Wee Mon.. in the picture on the label.
Natural in that there are no preservatives.
Session Ale in that it's low abv of 3.7% means you can take the time to enjoy more than one without any silliness taking hold.

As you can see from the photo this is a nice golden (pale yellow in the natural light) ale.

The head is a frothy crisp 3/4" that settles down to eventually disappear altogether after a few minutes. The aroma is quite familiar with those banana and citrus hops and a surprise after that seems like cinnamon. The flavour is a nice clean experience that is free of any unpleasantness. A slightly acidic first blush and then nicely refreshing aftertaste. No worries here ... just a good experience. For beer lovers a sure thing.

Other Opinions

As always ... If It's Friday Night it's time for Beer and Blues at www.dustmybroom.com it's time for Crying in Your Beer .... the Broom Server is FUBAR and OOS......

Cheers!
