Friday's Beer

The last of my winter stock

Winter Ale:

Inspired by the long, cold and seemingly endless Canadian winter, our 6.2% alcohol Winter Ale is a true winter warmer. Handcrafted with specialty hops and malts, combined with generous amounts of cinnamon, honey, ginger and orange peel, this unique beer is brimming with flavour. Available only for a limited time.

Great Lakes Beer

Pours a lovely deep amber with red overtones. A short lived head of cream coloured froth and the aroma of Christmas baking to stir the salivary responses.

A little acidic on the tongue but with a nice taste of the spices and that citrus overtone. Reminds me of mom's old style home made minced meat tarts. Anyway the finish is a little tart and that's ok as long as you still have another swallow in the glass.

Now remember it's Friday Night Blues and beer at www dot dustmybroom dot com.

Thanks to WLMRedux and the NBP..

See you all later ... cause right now it's Mrs' OMMAG and me going out for a bit of food and maybe a beer too.

Cheers!
