How to fake science, history and religion

Bumped again .... Because They just wont let go of their delusions.

"Evidence from ancient ice cores tell us that when greenhouse gases increase in the atmosphere, the climate warms," said White. "And when the climate warms, ice sheets melt and sea levels rise. If we see comparable rises in sea level in the future like we have seen in the ice-core record, we can pretty much say good-bye to American coastal cities like Miami, Houston, Norfolk, New Orleans and Oakland."

This from a supposed scientist running a very expensive ice coring project! Professor Jim White .... dedicated warmist and propagator of fake science.

And for the record the readings indicate no such thing .... rather that increased CO2 follows warming my friend. But of course when people whose livelyhood depends on pleasing the politically motivated wallet minders................................. two words for White "Tectonic Shift".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Plus .... With a Hat Tip to Small Dead Animals .... A concise history of the climate frauds and their hockey stick graph hokum Titled "Caspar and The Jesus Paper" By Bishop Hill.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The rest............

Do tell!

"One of the epigraphs that punctuate Invented Knowledge is from Pascal: "It is natural for the mind to believe and for the will to love; so that, for want of true objects, they must attach themselves to false". Whether it is natural or not, it would seem that the false – the extravagant, the fantastical, the grandiose – can at times be so seductive that we suspend our critical faculties in its consideration."

Nope. We finally cancelled our sub to the freepr. For a while I was just reading it for amusement, but I finally had all the asinine behaviour I could stomach....

Last time I bought a newspaper was the weekend after Katrina hit New Orleans. The headline read "This Time It IS all George Bush's Fault".
I realized they thought of him as an omnipotent Supreme Being who could control the Universe and I decided then and there I would not put up with that sort of mindless hero-worship.
