There is No Frakking "Scientific Consensus" on Global Warming: More Dodgy Citations in the Nobel-Winning IPCC Report

There is No Frakking "Scientific Consensus" on Global Warming: More Dodgy Citations in the Nobel-Winning IPCC Report

Oil for Food - Science for Fraudsters

Think these things are so far from each other ?

When you go looking at the IPCC web site and query WWF ... you get some interesting results.

For example, a WWF report is cited twice on this page as the only supporting proof of IPCC statements about coastal developments in Latin America. A WWF report is referenced twice by the IPCC's Working Group II in its concluding statements. There, the IPCC depends on the WWF to define what the global average per capita "ecological footprint" is compared to the ecological footprint of central and Eastern Europe.

Thanks so much for the honorable mention. I have a follow-up post on Greenpeace-generated literature in the Nobel-winning climate report.

I’ve also discovered that Dr. Pachauri, the IPCC chairman, has written at least one forward for a Greenpeace publication. Which strikes me as rather cozy…
