Pre-emptive Censorship of Election Reporting
Update .....
Shaw cable continued to block programming from CTV news on the cable network well after Restoring other broadcasters signals .....
Also noted .... CBC French channel news carried full election reporting while pols were still open west of Quebec ..... CBC english broadcast results live before pols closed in AB.
Shaw cable is blocking all cable news feeds citing Elections Canada rules ......
As far as anyone can tell this is not their responsibility .... but the responsibility lies with the broadcaster to not publish results from polls until the polls close.
Pre-crime has been determined by EC or Shaw ... the result is that our connection to information sources is being disrupted for no reason.

back in 1980, the networks called the election for ronald reagan, and jimmy carter gave his concession speech before the polls closed on the west coast.
