Is AP the Presidential Gaffe Filter?

Obama and his attempt to broaden the receptive audience for his message propaganda by appearing on late night TV was doomed to failure from the start. Without the teleprompter front and center there was no way that he would get through the staged interview without committing his usual sort of gaffe. I won't even get into the bald faced BS he offered in regard domestic spying and evesdropping efforts by the NSA. What I will point out is that we have a repeat display of his fundamental ignorance of  basic geography because, once again he slipped up on a matter of fact that concerns the USA.

Ordinarily, I do not believe that anyone should be broadly criticized for such gaffes. However, when it is the goddamned president of the US, there is no excuse. In fact, the habitual misspeaking of Obama on matters of what and where things are in the physical body of the USA is a symptom of something that should be questioned. I say that this is an extension of his underlying contempt for the country he has been elected to serve. A sort of tic that manifests when the underlying stress of pretending to give a shit becomes too much for the fragile ego of the narcissist.

But of course there are those standing there, ready, willing and able to help cover up these public verbal twitches. One such helpful agent of the presidential protection volunteers is Associated Press and their agent Russ Bynum who took up the cause and edited what was already said in public in order to smooth over the gaffe in the realm of print.

If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don't do that, those ships are going to go someplace else. And we’ll lose jobs. Businesses won’t locate here.

What Obama said was not what AP printed.

AP added the the words ... And In ... to the line "places like..." in a blatant effort to smooth over the factual error and cover up  the habitual tic of the president. The media lies to protect their favorites.

Remember this and apply the question to every thing you read or hear in the media.
