ALSO ..... I had a chance to sample some BEER from Kelowna BC ....
Honeycomb Pilsener from Tree Brewing Company - They say ..... "It's a Clean Crisp Pilsener with a delicate aroma oh hops and a subtle taste of honey"

This baby pours a beautiful clear golden.... with a little frothy head that dissipates quickly and a body that continues to effervesce lightly.
The nose is all classic fruity hops that I find sort of lemony ...... the flavour is really nice and fresh and the feel is clean on the palate.
I'm hoping to get my hands on some of their Hefeweizen ! :)
I'd recommend this beer for summer thirst quenching and served with snacks like wings, nachos and veggie platters ....... Thanks Darcey !

And I keep posting beauties every Friday .... Just Because!
Twenty years ago or so, they licensed a good Italian beer for domestic production and sale in Ontario. Peroni was marketed to the Toronto Italian community; like a lot of the under-license foreign labels of those years, it didn't last. But they had a great slogan "Birra Peroni, la birra per noi!" By far the best anagram beer commercial ever.
