The Right To Choose!
Although many people argue about their "Rights" and complain bitterly when as they see it, some group or another is being discriminated against because of laws defending the rights of individuals. We hear so often from the "Right to This" or "Right to That" crowd of howlers that SOME rights are less important. Especially if those particular rights happen to be associated with activities that don't fit their view of how the rest of us ought to behave.
What really burns me is when these self appointed arbitors of social rights and wrongs get into issues that affect ownership and use of private property.
This is how I view the issue of the right to chose ......

Just got back from the gun show in Dugald. Impressive selection, far better than anything I've seen in the city.
Some real nice M-14's, a few Garands and Lee-Enfields piqued my curiosity, but no serious purchases for me today! There was even a Bren on display, not for sale!
Talked a bit to the admissions lady, she informed me that yesterday they had close to 670 people come through the door, over half of them women!!
Those who would issue an outright ban on long guns have no idea what they are up against.
