Symbolic Fighting ......

....... From Siegfried to Zelig

When it comes to going to war My Germanic Forebearers have a pretty well respected history of merciless and effective prosecution of hostile actions.

Now you can debate about the nobility of much German war making or martial activity but you can't say they didn't put their heart and soul in to it.

Well .... so much for history and tradition...

Modern LIberal Angst has successfully castrated the Germanic Eagle and taken us from Siegfried As Glorified By Wagner to ...... Zelig as illuminated by Allen.....

Via !No Pasaran!:

A top Taliban commander in Afghanistan with links to the killers of several British Army soldiers has escaped from German special forces because they were not authorised to kill him.

The fiasco highlights the absurd role played by the German military in the country which is known to other combat nations as "the bridge builders" because Berlin will not let them fire shots in any situation other than in self-defence.

German special forces had an important Taliban commander in their sights in Afghanistan but he escaped as the Germans were not authorised to use lethal force. (MailOnline)
