Bloody Bus Ride!
The morning news is awash with coverage of grizzly assault that occurred on a Grey Hound Bus early this morning. The bus was on it's way into Winnipeg from Edmonton when apparently one passenger began assaulting another with a knife. The witnesses describe the violent event as sudden with the victim being stabbed or slashed 40 to 50 times.
Fortunately, the driver was able to pull off the road and get the rest of the passengers off the vehicle safely.
The driver apparently locked the door from the outside of the bus thus containing the assailant. Sometime before the police arrived the attacker was seen brandishing the head of his victim at the bus door. A short standoff ensued with police eventually storming the bus and apprehending the attacker.
I wonder if they tazered him?
Personally ... if I were a bus driver I'd be armed to the teeth.
