The Great Lie of UNiversal Health Care
Canada went down this path about 50 years ago and it's been just one intrusion on personal freedom after another ever since.
The only thing that gets better under a government managed public health system is the pension plans of the health care and public service unions and that is a demonstrable fact. One need only track the growth of these in Canada and every other socialistic state that has taken on the mantle of caregiver for the public.
The ultimate result for the public in need of adequate medical insurance and medical care is that the bureaucrats will end up choking off the life support in the name of budgetary constraints. And ... brothers and sisters .... that will be the only thing they restrain.
The public health care monopsony is a political lever that every stripe of political opportunist will use at every opportunity to advance themselves in power over the public and the public purse.
The USA has just bitten the poisoned apple served up by the hags of the Democrat Party in what amounts to the single largest swindle they have ever orchestrated.
