From the Backseat Blogger - Red Rag Writers go on!

· The Media Party of Canada has laid out it’s 2007 election platform:

James Travers

There’s Something About Steve.
… George W. Bush…
…Or is he a coldly calculating conservative ideologue…
… bent on turning a traditionally centre-left country hard right?…
…Liberal David Emerson …
… party bagman Michael Fortier…
… It helps explain why his successes come with asterisks…
…Conservatives cut deep into programs as respected as the Law Reform Commission…
…Conservatives didn’t win this year,
Liberals lost last year…
…defrocked RCMP commissioner Giuliano Zaccardelli revealed a probe into alleged Liberal leaks on income trusts…
…angry voters to use Conservatives as a stick to punish Liberals, Canada’s default party…
…(Liberal) leadership contest that almost always leads to the prime minister’s official residence…
…Harper’s failure to armour his party with a credible green policy is revealing…
…Conservative core constituency and makes it so difficult to find and solidify other support…
…a prime minister with an Alberta political base…
…he knows the world best through briefing notes, not personal experience…
…Harper just can’t seem to get the hang of foreign policy…
…borrowing images from Bush…
…Harper exploits controversy in the hope Canadians will confuse applied rigidity with strong leadership…
… and they want to connect emotionally with a prime minister who doesn’t seem to like people much…
…For the Prime Minister, that disconnect is dishearteningly obvious in opinion polls…
…( can )a party still tending its deep Reform roots can be trusted with almost unfettered majority power…
…the last election was a low-obligation Tory test drive are not yet ready to buy…
…two out of three would do their political shopping elsewhere…
…Paw through them and find a strategy Conservatives spent the year refining. At its epicentre is advice delivered here in May by the pollster, analyst and all-round U.S. Republican whiz Frank Luntz…
…Has a year in power made Canadians comfortable enough with Harper to trust his party with more power?…
…Defeating Liberals is one thing, electing Conservatives another…
…Before that happens, voters will have to decide if they can live with whatever it is about Steve…

For a skilled writer this piece is nothing but a list...of liberal claptrap.
A writer would be embarrassed to have his name on it!
The commenter from BSB - Wilson 61 has done an excellent job of summarizing!
