Screw The UN and Their Meddling Busibody Nurse-Nannys

I still know where I would choose to raise my family if I had to make that decision!

And it would not be in any of the following:

the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Portugal, The Czech Republic, Germany or any of the socialist utopias who meet the approval of the UN nurse-nannys.

Borrowed from CP today:

"" UN says British, U.S. kids worst off in industrial world; Canada 12th out of 21

By JOSH WARD

BERLIN (CP) - British and American children are among the worst off in the industrialized world, according to a UN report Wednesday that ranked the well-being of youngsters in 21 wealthy countries.

The study also suggested Canada has a lot of room for improvement, ranking just 12th on the list in a tie with Greece, a much poorer country. The Netherlands and Sweden rated first and second. Canada did better in some individual categories that made up the overall rankings, including second in education and sixth for material well-being.

However, it ranked much worse in others such as young people's subjective sense of well-being (15th), behaviours and risks (17th) and peer and family relationships (18th). It was 13th in health and safety. ""

Oh yeah the main reason the UN busybodies don't like us - Our kids seem to take more risks and may not feel as "Positive" about themselves as the precious little coddle bunnies of Europe!

Did anyone stop to ask why the UN is wasting resources studying the "rich" nations instead of studying the "UNrich" nations?
