Iowa Hawk .... posted this piece on a DoJ fiasco while I was out on the road.
Gibsons for Druglords = Fast and Fretless
A parody? I thought it was all satire over the Guns for Drug Lords cluster f@ck.....
But ....sadly .... it is all true .... in spite of the satircal tone of the Hawk piece this is a real deal.
The Obama administration and their oppointed "csars" of this and that are totally out of control.
Besides being a bunch of complete morons ... they are dangerously stupid.
The real excuse for this abuse of authority is the pursuit of environmental policy that regards the use of exotic woods in making musical instruments a federal crime.
But ... just as with any of these jackboot enviro-nazi policies ... those clowns who are empowered to determine what constitutes "exotic" or whatever term is being used to excuse another intrusion into other people's business have no idea what they are talking about.
The end result being that in order to get their own way they succeed in nothing but arbitrary and unwarranted abuses.
The world will be much better off when these jackasses are removed from power.

Yes, having solved every other crime in America, it's time to create new criminals. Reminds me of Canadian Liberals and the gun registry.
So what happens to these stolen guitars and pianos? My guess is they end up in the rec rooms of corrupt beaurocrats and enforcement goons.
