Former PM Jean Chretien ... or as I like to call him "The Little Prick from Shawinigan" ...went to work as a legal advisor and lobbyist.

No surpries to me he ended up connected to some bribery and such.... from The National Post:

An Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench justice heard how Griffiths Energy International Inc. (GEI) acquired oil and gas properties in Chad, by directing US$2-million to the wife of that country’s ambassador to the United States and Canada.
The National Post has learned that before sending the bribe, GEI enlisted former Canadian prime minister Jean Chrétien to help advance its interests in Chad.
Mr. Chrétien is counsel for Heenan Blaikie, one of Canada’s largest and most prestigious law firms. He sometimes meets with foreign officials to promote companies that his firm represents. Heenan Blaikie has in recent years been focused on mining ventures in Africa.

BTW ... there are still about $40 million of Canadian tax payer's money that Chretien Libranos have yet to account for .... or be held accountable for.

Now the reason I invoke the "Shiny Pony" ... is that for years ... the liberal MSM felt that PM Stephen Harper was somehow responsible for every last thing that old rotten sock Brian Mulroney might have done. Whether real or imagined....

I say the shoe should be used to smack the other side up the head just as ... ahem .... liberally.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say a fire has been reported at an Islamic center near Oregon State University in Corvallis. No injuries have been reported. Authorities tell The Oregonian they are investigating the cause. The fire erupted two days after a Somali-born teenager and former OSU student was arrested and charged with trying to blow up a van that he believed was loaded with explosives at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland.

Well .... let's just see where the "peaceful folks" try to lay the blame for this one!
