In this post by SBPDL authored by the pseudonomic (pseudonymous?) Paul Kersey .... there is a lot of information about just who does what with firearms in America. No surprise that most crimes committed with firearms are committed by young black men on other young black men.  No surprise either that this occurs mostly in the urban shitholes where white people do not live ... because they don't have to.

White urban people mostly own guns to protect themselves from the people who are most likely to use them for committing crimes. (must make them racist eh?)

The upshot of all this seems to be that black people don't like white people to have guns and mostly support gun controls that will take away those legally owned firearms from the people least likely to use them for crimes.  (but that's NOT racist I suppose...)

It is indeed ironic that they were so wrong about not having enough food to feed an ever growing number of humans, but rather that we ran out of constructive things for all of them to do. So we get all these fat, pampered lemmings coming up with more and more insane ways to make themselves feel needed.

Some fellow calling himself TrueNorthist had that to say about the sad state of governance.
Particularly obvious in the California ... the state claim to fame seems to have become being at the forefront of decline and decay and hairbrained ideas.

It actually explains a lot about the current state of our western society. There just is not enough constructive things to do .... well at least for people who have no usefull skills. And this, is the fundamental fault with the academic world. Academics in and of themselves serve no useful purpose.

The successess of the last 100 years had nothing to do with academics or political philosophy but everything to do with the unrestrained opportunities to develop and exploit the worlds resources.
The development and exploitation of resources requires great investment in terms of human activity and provides opportunity for large numbers of people to be productive and have constructive things to do.

Ironically ... this societal success also provided a safe and secure environment for academics, politicians, bureaucrats and activists of all sorts.

Canadian Media ... Cheshire Cat

With a hat tip to Small Dead Animals ... the Saskatchewan based blog that ... In My Opinion ... has done more to inform and educate the world on the FACTS about the Canadian Wheat Board than the entire mainstream media or the collective propaganda that has been promoted by government agencies .... or the entire realm of academia.

Since taking the WCB on as an issue the SDA crew of contributors and commenting readers has well dissected every point of view and most of the blather ... both pro and con ... that has been tossed about in the public realm.

Since the federal government has put an end to its agencies enforced rule and power to prosecute objectors to the agency mandates, the question of whether membership and subscription to the WCB services is beneficial or not will be decided by farmers instead of government "experts" and bureaucrats. Strike ONE large blow for freedom.

Striking the second blow for freedom against this abuse of government, the Prime Minister has put forward and taken the initiative to pardon victims of the WCBs over reaching bureaucrats who committed the "crime" of selling or trying to sell their own property outside of the wheat board.

Remember that the WCB was the creation of liberals in government and in the grain business and supported by some farmers. The WCB was defended and supported in public by liberal media and academics who favour government intervention over individual initiative.

Remember also that these same "progressives" favour the pardon and enforced compensation of people like Maher Arrar and  argue for the repatriation of  Omar Khadr .... the same people whose hearts bleed for rioter, vandals and thieves of all stripes instead of demanding that justice be served.

Never forget.

The project is titled "Honda NX 650 Dominator Streettracker" and there are more pictures showing the development from stock bike to this very nice custom.

Looks to be very real world usable and I'd bet it's a blast to ride on unpaved back roads and packed dirt trails.

NS is another province on the receiving end of the financial dole ... although possibly capable of reasserting their agricultural economy fundamentals they are still on the path of growing government and debt to maintain services at unrealistic levels.
PEI ... should just give up pretending to be a self sustaining entity ... the so called province produces nothing that the rest of the world need and would likely be reduced to subsisting on potatoes and haddock if the federal teat were withdrawn.

NL/LB   have chosen to not be self sufficient and the fact is that they do not need to be dependant. It is a matter of choice for these regions ....

From something described as "a secret" motorcycle museum ..... our friend Paul Crowe of The Kneeslider blog brought this interesting piece of machinery to our attention.

Now I've been in the business of finding uses and opportunities for gasifier technology and I've seen a few odd contraptions devised to use captured hydrocarbon gas from burning junk ... but this motorcycle is a real piece of work .... or junk.... however you choose to view it.


I get a certain amount of post apocalyptic ... road warrior ... vibe off of this thing.

I'd like to know what the bike was that they spliced the wood stove onto.............

One of my favourite blogs !NoPasaran! ... has discovered that according to something called "The British Council" Canadians are as smugly self righteous in their views of the USA as are those paragons of self importance .... the Europeans....

Even if it means going right down the toilet .... just like Europe has done.


Just a closing thought .... What do you suppose the poll results would be if a few qualifying questions were used to determine whether those anti American sentiments were actually the result of some understanding .... or rather the result of the continual drip of the liberal media?

More to NPR Resignations ...

Could be ... since the folks who ran the expose on them probably do have more video....

Personally, I find the sort of hidden camera stuff just plain sleazy .... but there is much more than just the amateurish espionage performed by James O'Keefe for his ProjectVeritas.org ... that's the same folks who performed the gotcha stings that helped to collapse ACORN across ther US.....

However, it remains to be seen whether there is more to this recent bamboozle at NPR.

Commentary Magazine poses the question "Why would Viv Schiller resign that$500k job over what was essentially an effort to do her job in promoting her company?"

As for the other Schiller ... who is no relation ... same deal. The guy is a millionaire fundraiser who gets paid very well for results .... regardless of his personal opinions.

You have to consider that 80 % of NPR funding comes from sympathetic private donations ad grants. Even if the pols who are going after their funding are successful they are unlikely to actually recover that 20% of forced taxpayer contribution.... probably a percentage of that like 20 percent which would work out to something like a 4% total reduction.

So for the threat of a statistical blip and one mildly embarrasing video ... we get two high profile NPR execs to resign? That does not really add up IMO.

I'm inclined to thin that there is a lot more that these people have to be worried about... whether or not there are videos on the loose.

Even if you look at the sting executed on NPR director of institutional donations Betsy Liley ... who was videotaped conspiring with a guy posing as Muslim Brotherhood rep to conceal a $5 mil donation... that should not affect the other jobs.


I'm thinking that just maybe ... there is a lot more dirt under that roof and the powers that be at NPR are just hoping to cut their loses.

Makes me wonder what we could dig up at CBC .... remember that CBC thing where they claimed they do not have to divulge information about where the spend their money ... or where it comes from?
