You Know What This Means?

This .... is the fact that the little lunatic state of Nork gave official notice today that they are withdrawing from the armistice of 1953. 

This means that the freakshow military dictatorship is on its own and officially at war with:
South Korea, USA, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Ethiopia, Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Greece, France, Colombia, Belgium, South Africa, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy, India, Luxembourg.

In addition, the rest of the NATO members, the Commonwealth nations and by extension every nation that has agreed to subsequent military agreements with any of these member states are affected.

The original signatories  to the armistice included; the Norks, actually the Nork Army and on behalf of  the Chinese Peoples Army. The USA signed on behalf of the United Nations Command.
The treaty, in effect created the republic of South Korea and of course this is the primary beneficiary of the armistice agreement.

Still waiting to hear any official response to this situation from any one other than the UN who believe that the Armistice is still in force regardless of what the Norks say.  A sort of "Move along ... nothing to see here." approach to the situation. Never mind the facts to the contrary.
That and some vague threat to establish an "Official Commission" of human rights to investigate the Norks. Whatever that has to do with a defacto declaration of war.

I imagine that South Korea probably has something to say about that.

The president's top counterterrorism adviser on Wednesday called jihad a "legitimate tenet of Islam," arguing that the term "jihadists" should not be used to describe America's enemies.

During a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, John Brennan described violent extremists as victims of "political, economic and social forces," but said that those plotting attacks on the United States should not be described in "religious terms."

He repeated the administration argument that the enemy is not "terrorism," because terrorism is a "tactic," and not terror, because terror is a "state of mind" -- though Brennan's title, deputy national security adviser for counterterrorism and homeland security, includes the word "terrorism" in it. But then Brennan said that the word "jihad" should not be applied either.

These people are insane. I bet Obama, oops, I mean Osama, is glad to hear he is a victim of economic forces; being rich is a bitch.

Under the guise of the IPCC manufactured consensus of science the UN and a host of willing thieves have conspired to impose their will on the economies that sustain this world.

If you need examples from closer to home just take a look at the avalanche of failures in California that the Obama adminsistration is hell bent on rewarding with the tax dollars of the American public.

While the Nurse Nannies of the Government in Britain occupied ( and continue to do so) themselves with the having of policies and proper use of action words (verbs to us yokels... or more correctly "Verbalese of Bureaucratese Origins" ) , the State Organ for protection of the innocent (No I do not mean the pet victim groups of the socially progressive such as criminals and terrorists .... rather real innocents like 17 month old babies) has been busy ... busy ... busy.

Busy protecting the innocents that are their charge and responsibility? Hell No!
Rather busy covering their asses and making damned sure the "Policies" that have nothing to do with exercising that responsibility are well used.

What does this mean? It means in plain English that the child welfare agencies of Britain are effectively abetting the abuse and murder of the very children they are supposed to be protecting.

How?

By making sure that priority number one remains the covering of their own cheesy asses.

The results?

Not one but two children from the same family tortured, one of them to death!

FARC Thugs Captured in Rescue of Hostages!

But the leftards of the MSM choose to largely ignore the fact.
While I can't find which news organization broke the story I see that AP and Reuters have taken slightly different tacks. AP has a hard on for the Ingrid Betancourt angle only acknowledging in passing the three Americans who were working on drug interdiction with the Columbian government and pays no heed to the dozen Columbian hostages rescued. Reuters focuses on the Americans and gives passing mention to Betancourt and mere nod of recognition that there were other hostages. The AP coverage to their credit does mention that there are about 700 or so hostages still in the hands of the Marxist thugs and did take the time to mention that some of the FARC thugs were taken into custody.

As usual though it's the MSM networks that play the story in their typical asinine manner.

The story as covered by the usual suspects at the TV networks ...each and every one has called the kidnapping of these people a "Capture" and added at least a note of sympathy for the FARC thugs. Being described universally as simply "Rebels" and their actions as "Capture" of indivduals such as Betancourt. Most going so far as to characterize the Columbian agents who pulled of the rescue as "Spies" and the operation itself as a "Trick" !

As usual the commie lovers at BBC took it up a notch! By lionizing the FARC as they imagine a wounded jungle animal likely to strike back ferociously at the Columbian government . Way to go BBC .... never miss an opportunity to cheerlead for bastards and thugs eh?

In all of this not one of these simpletons of the MSM bothers to note that the FARC are running a Kidnapping Business and have been for years .... right along with their Other big enterprise of Cocaine transportation. The web hosting company Network Solutions removed the web site used in promoting the movie which is supposed to highlight the belligerent intentions and acts of Islamic Fundamentalists.

They cited complaints received about the movie and it's promotional site as the usual litany of accusations from groups like CAIR and such...

Network Solutions also just coincidentally hosted Hizbollah.org in the US!

That is until earlier today where it is noted by Report on Arrakis that the terrorist organization's site has been removed!

Cheers for that!
